• Physical education teacher and coach at Franklin Junior/Senior High School, 1955-1980
• First president of the Reisterstown Area Recreation Council; Past president of the Reisterstown Community Youth Advisory Committee
• Won over 25 tennis and bowling trophies in tournament competition
• Led her class intermural to school championships in field hockey (playing MIW) IN 1936 and 39
• Was selected to the Honorary Varsity Team in five different sports – field hockey, baseball, softball, tennis, and volleyball
