  • Selected to the honorary varsity teams in 1939 in field hockey, basketball, and softball
  • Awarded the “M” monogram and green blazer for outstanding intramural participation
  • Taught girls’ physical education in Washington county MD 1941-44 and 1946 until retirement in 1980
  • Foundation head golf club ladies champion ten times
  • The springs handicap tournament champion five times; 1955-1993
  • Initiated the women’s golf program at Beaver Creek Country Club, Washington county
  • Won club championship seven times, 1961-1975
  • Finished the Cumberland Valley athletic club 50-mile JFK memorial walk-run, 1973
  • Inducted into the Washington County sports hall of fame 1988
  • Three-time golf champion in the Maryland state senior Olympics – 1984, 1988, 1994
  • Competed in the national senior Olympics golf competition in 75-79 age group in 1995
