  • Won singles' tennis championship in 1930 and 1931

  • Helped organize Women's Athletic Association-Vice President
  • College blazer for outstanding performance in athletics 
  • First officer class of the United States Coast Guard Women's Reserve
  • Armed Service Record 1943-1946 
  • Attained the rank of a full lieutenant
  • Founded and served as president of the Montgomery County Teachers Federal Credit Union (1950-1953) 
  • Retired from Montgomery County Board of Education after 25 years of teaching physical education
  • Later served as the first college coordinator for Walt Whitman High School from 1962-1968
