• Athletic accomplishments occurred when she studied at Boston-Bouve, a physical education college 
• Named to both the All-Boston and All-Baltimore field hockey teams, the All-Baltimore lacrosse team
• Became assistant supervisor of physical education for the Baltimore County Board of Education
• Assisted in curriculum revision of girls physical education
• Taught physical education at Sparks high school, and later at Kenwood high school where her basketball teams won the county championship every year from 1934 – 1947
• Basketball Honorary Team 1940
