BALTIMORE, Md. - The McDaniel College men's track & field team won seven events at the 2023 ECAC Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, finishing first with 133 points.
The Green Terror finished eight points ahead of second-place Hood who had 125 points.
Senior Nick Razze placed first in the 400-meter hurdles with a new school record time of 52.93 seconds, edging his previous record of 52.94 seconds. He is currently ranked 12th in Division III.
Junior Chett Brunner won the shot put with a throw of 39.26 meters as well as the discus with a mark of 14.31 meters. Junior Jake Conklin placed fourth in shot put at 33.99 meters.
Senior Wyatt Farace won the 10,000 meters in a time of 34:16.36. while junior Nick Raumann finished with the seventh-fastest time in program history at 34:30.22.
Senior Collin Wainwright won the hammer throw with a toss of 40.79 meters while Conklin placed fourth at 35.07 meters.
Junior Tyren Proctor won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.23 seconds.
Freshman Jack Sears won the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:97.83. He also placed second in the 1,500 meters in 4:01.75.
Junior John Geniti placed second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.90 meters and Conklin placed second in the javelin at 41.86 meters.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Proctor, sophomore Oral-Anthony Coleman, sophomore Jeremiah Maxwell and senior Malachi Thompson placed third with a time of 42.81 seconds.
Maxwell also placed fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 22.70 seconds while senior Anthony Razze placed sixth with a personal best time of 23.04 seconds.
Coleman placed fourth in the 100 meters in 11.05 seconds and junior Alex Huffer placed seventh in the 400 meters in 59.82 seconds.
McDaniel returns to action at the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday.
