- Won the 1500 (4:06.67) at the Blue & Gold Goucher Classic
- Set the program record 4x1500 (16:52.46) at the 2023 Colonial Relays
- Ran a personal best 800 (2:02.95) at the Galludet Bison Classic
- Ran a personal best 1500 (4:01.31) and won the 4x800 (8:07.73) at the 2023 Messiah Multi/Invitational
- Won and set the program record in the 3000 (8:58.45) and won the 1500 (4:04.62) at the Gallaudet University Invitational
- At the 2023 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship he placed 7th in the 4x800 (8:00.77), and placed 20th in the 1500 (4:11.59)
- Ran a personal best and won the 5000 (17:07.83) at the ECAC DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships, also placed 2nd in the 1500 (4:01.75)

- Son of David and Margaret Sears
- Majoring in Computer Science
- Grandfather Joe Lang ran at St. John's (1959-63), He won the Metropolitan Conference in cross country and in the 3 mile run.
