MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - The McDaniel men's outdoor track team traveled to Messiah University for the Messiah Invitational and Multi. There would be one new school record, five event winners, six athletes moving up on the program top ten lists, and four new Centennial Conference Championship qualifiers.
The men would finish third in the meet scoring 84 points, lead by top scorer Senior Nick Razze who put up 20.5 points.
Senior Collin Wainwright threw 41.53 meters in hammer throw to reset his own school record, and place 10th in the meet. Sophomore Jacob Graham threw 37.53 meters and finished 20th.
Junior Tyren Proctor would win the 110 hurdles running a time of 15.12 in finals. Razze followed in second with a time of 15.20. This mark moves Razze to fourth all-time for the program and qualified him for the event at the Centennial Conference Championship. Junior Kyle Hubbard placed 11th running 16.65.
Nick Razze won the 400 meter hurdles running a time of 53.85. Proctor grabbed 15th with a time of 59.69. Senior Anthony Razze ran 1:00.71 to finish 18th. Sophomore Anders Madsen would win the 800m running a time of 1:55.81. Junior Tyler Richardson would run 2:00.96 to finish 14th.
Sophomore Oral-Anthony Coleman placed fifth in the 200 running a time of 22.20. Sophomore Jeremiah Maxwell followed in sixth with a 22.28. This moves Maxwell to fourth all time in program history. Senior Malachi Thompson would run 23.65 to finish 34th. This mark qualifies Thompson for the Centennial Conference Championship.
Senior Wyatt Farace ran a time of 15:34.54 in the 5000 meter to finish fifth. This time moves Farace to fourth in program history. Junior Nick Raumann ran 15:55.27 to finish 9th. This time improved his tenth all-time mark. This will also qualify Raumann for the Conference Championship.
Freshman Jack Sears ran a time of 4:01.31 in the 1500 to finish sixth. This time moves Sears to fourth in program history for the event.
Coleman would also place third in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.01. This time moves Coleman to seventh all-time in program history. Senior Malachi Thompson ran 11.87 finishing 27th.
The men's 4x100 team of Coleman, Proctor, Nick Razze, and Maxwell won the event running a time of 42.96. The 4x800 team of Sears, Richardson, Anthony Razze, and Madsen would win the 4x800 relay running a time of 8:07.73.
Junior Chett Brunner would place sixth in shot put with a throw of 13.97 meters. Junior Jake Conklin would place 27th throwing 11.28 meters. In discus Brunner placed 9th with a throw of 38.87 meters. This mark qualifies him for the Conference Championship. Junior Jake Conklin threw 35.17 meters to place 21st.
Junior Alex Huffer would place sixth in the 400 running a time of 50.70. Junior John Geniti placed 14th in pole vault with a jump of 3.30 meters.

The men will compete next at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational at Loyola University (Md.) on Saturday April 22nd.
