Morgan Hired as Graduate Assistant Coach for Men's Lacrosse

WESTMINSTER, Md. - On Friday, McDaniel College Head Men's Lacrosse Coach T.C. DiBartolo announced that Jacob Morgan has joined the coaching staff as a graduate assistant.

"I've had the pleasure to coach against Jacob over the last four years as a player at Goucher," said DiBartolo. "One of the things I have been most impressed with, and a big reason why we are so excited about him coming here, was how much he developed into a dynamic offensive threat who could really do it all. I'm excited to bring his knowledge of player development here to McDaniel and have no doubt that he will add tremendous value to the staff."

Morgan comes to the Hill after earning All-Landmark Conference First Team and being named the 2026 Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Year. He scored 104 points to tie the conference single-season record, surpassing his own school record of 96 points set in 2025. He totaled 52 goals and 52 assists as a senior and was the program's first player to earn a first team all-conference selection since 2018 and the first-ever to be named Offensive Player of the Year.

Morgan finished his final collegiate season ranked sixth in Division III in points per game at 6.11 and 14th in assists per game at 3.05. Off the field, he was selected as a USILA Scholar All-American.

"I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity," said Morgan. "I have firsthand experience with the energy, toughness, and competitiveness that this program brings. I really like the vision that T.C. has for the program. I'm excited to work with a motivated team and begin my coaching career at a program that competes in one of the most respected conferences in Division III."

A three-time All-Landmark Conference selection and 2023 Landmark Conference and ECAC Division III Rookie of the Year, Morgan appeared in 66 of the team's 69 games during his career while making 64 starts and totaling a program-record 318 points and 165 assists. He also ranks third with 153 goals. He is the only player in school history to total 300 points and one of just two with at least 100 goals and 100 assists. He led the conference in points twice in 2024 and 2026.

Morgan is a native of Bowie, Md. and graduate of Bowie High School. He graduated from Goucher in May 2026 with a bachelor's degree in Education Studies and Psychology.
