WESTMINSTER, Md. - The McDaniel College men's lacrosse team closed out the 2026 season at home on Saturday with a 15-6 loss to Ursinus inside Gill Stadium.
The Green Terror (5-12, 0-8 CC) scored four of the game's first five goals, getting two goals from junior
Aidan Skelly to take a 4-1 lead with 9:00 remaining in the second quarter.
The Bears (5-10, 1-7 CC) answered with the next six, including two from Daniel Rice, as they took a 6-4 lead at halftime. The visitors held a 12-6 shot advantage in the second quarter which led to five goals, four of which came in the final four minutes.
Ursinus added two more to start the second half before senior Trent scored his second goal of the season to pull McDaniel within three, 8-5 with 5:27 left in the third.
However, the Bears netted the game's next four-straight tallies to push their lead to seven after three, 12-5.
Junior
Cash Stanton scored his 14th goal of the season with less than six minutes to play in the fourth before Ursinus tallied the game's final three goals to provide the final margin.
Skelly finished with two goals while six others totaled one point apiece. Junior
Mike Biront had three caused turnovers while sophomore
Connor Penderghest had four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
