THE REST OF THE STORY

McDaniel, however, responded with the next two, turning a one-goal deficit into a one-goal lead with 9:53 showing. Eric Manfredonia (Ramsey, N.J.Saint Joseph Regional) finished an unassisted goal before Fegan found the back of the net off a pass from Zach Micklos (Washington, D.C./St. John's College). Less than a minute later, Brinster scored his second of the game to draw the Fords back even. Two more goals from Haverford put the visitors back in front by a pair. With 46 seconds left, Nick DeLoriers (Abingdon, Md./John Carroll) found a cutting Fegan to slice the deficit in half.
• Haverford scored the first two goals of the second quarter to take a 6-3 lead just 3:52 into the period. Fegan broke up the what would ultimately be a 5-1 Fords run at the 7:35 mark, finishing his hat trick in the first half. Samuel Millie made it a 9-4 game with 2:27 on the clock. The Green Terror had a final-minute rally in them with goals from DeLoriers and Travis Hershey (Palmyra, Pa./Lower Dauphin) each scoring in the final 26 seconds to close the margin to 9-6 at the break.
• The defenses contrilled play in the third quarter. Haverford found the back of the net twice for the period's lone tallies. Mowatt-Larssen scored with 10:32 to play and then Devin Lefkowitz broke a 10-minute, 30-second stretch with no goals to make it 11-6 after 45 minutes.
• Gray Pollock opened up the fourth quarter and Mowatt-Larssen stretched the lead to 13-6 with 11:40 on the clock. Fegan finally broke through for McDaniel in the second half with 6:13 to play but, with 4:03 left, Mowatt-Larssen found the back of the net for the final margin.
