THE SKINNY
Gettysburg, ranked 15th in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll, opened up a 7-1 first-quarter lead, ultimately defeating McDaniel, 20-7.

THE LEADERS
Dom Calderoni (Glen Cove, N.Y./North Shore) led the Green Terror offense with four goals.
Jason Fritz (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) finished with three assists and a pair of ground balls.

FOR THE FOES
• Spencer Knife, George Raymond, and Aidan Wykoff each recorded a hat trick for the Bullets.
• Johathan Moshe went 16-for-21 on faceoffs and scooped up 11 ground balls.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Gettysburg took advantage of an early man-up opportunity when Jack Dunleavy scored 1:03 into the game, sparking a 4-0 burst in the game's first 7:30. Nick DeLoriers (Abingdon, Md./John Carroll) finished a quick pass from Liam DeLorenzo (Allentown, N.J./Allentown) on a man-up opportunity to halt the opening run with 4:58 on the clock. The Bullets, however, scored three times in the final 2:43 of the quarter.
• The run extedned to 5-0 when Spencer Knife tallied his second and Kieran Ward finished a pass from Knife for a 9-1 lead with 10:21 remaining in the second quarter. Dom Calderoni finished the first of Jason Fritz's assists with 6:26 showing but two Bullet goals around a Fritz-to-Zach Micklos (Wasington, D.C./St. John's College) connection tfor an 11-3 game at the break.
• Quinton Mather found Knife and George Raymond in the opening seven minutes of the third quarter before Calderoni took a pass from DeLoriers for his first of three in the period with 7:27 showing. The teams traded tallies until Wykoff started a three-goal finish in the final 8:03 for the final margin.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 66-22 advantage in shots and won 22 of the 31 faceoffs.
Zach Micklos picked up four ground balls for McDaniel.

NEXT UP
McDaniel returns to action at home against Swarthmore on Saturday. Game time is 12 p.m.
