THE REST OF THE STORY
• Skyler Schluter found Matt Thurston for two goals during a six-goal run to start the game that saw six different Dickinson players register a point in the first 8:31. With 5:41 left in the first quarter Patrick Fegan put McDaniel on the board and momentarily stopped the run. As the quarter drew to a close, Schluter racked up his third assist with a pass to Owen Porter to put the Red Devil's up by six at the end of the period.
• Schluter then found the back of the net for the second time just 47 seconds into the second quarter that stretched the lead to 15-1. The period included two more for Thurston and Porter.
• Schluter then found Tucker Booth for the second time early in the third quarter. Eric Manfredonia finished a solo run with 8:41 showing but the Red Devils reelled off another six in a row over a 15-minute, 16-second stretch that spanned the final two quarters. Lee Dunn found Colin Williams for back-to-back goals on either side of the quarter break. Dylan Vitale set the final margin with 46 seconds remaining.
