• Jason Heeley (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch), Luke Shires (Fallston, Md./Loyola Blakefield), and Matthew Wilson (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) combined to lead the Green Terror to a dominating day at the faceoff X, winning 23 of 25 as a team. Heeley was 9-for-10 while Shires went 12-for-13 and Wilson won both he took. Heeley and Shires also picked up six ground balls each.
• Nick DeLoriers (Abingdon, Md./John Carroll) led the offense with a two goals and two assists.
• Patrick Fegan (Edgewater, Md./South River) finished the day with a goal and three assists.

• Jamal White led the Lions with one goal and two caused turnovers.
• Ryan Ovecka added a goal and an assist.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• After 5 minutes, 42 seconds of a scoreless deadlock, Dylan Vitale (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Township) scored off a pass from NIck DeLoriers to break open the scoring. Just 31 seconds later, Nick Wingo (Westminster, Md./Westminster) found the back of the net before finding Eric Manfredonia (Ramsey, N.J./Saint Joseph Regional) just 45 ticks after that. Unassisted tallies from Bobby Ruppert (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) and Tristan Rhodovi (Laurel, Md./Atholton) stretched the lead to 5-0 after one period.
• Vitale added his second of the day less than a minute into the second quarter, leading to a six-goal quarter in which six different McDaniel players found the back of the net. DeLoriers had a goal and an assist in the quarter. Jason Fritz (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) capped the quarter, scoring his first collegiate goal with 1:24 to play.
• After Patrick Fegan scored within the first two minutes of the third quarter, he found DeLoriers and Liam DeLorenzo (Allentown, N.J./Allentown) on the same unreleasable penalty for a pair of man-up goals and a 14-0 lead with 11:16 to play. The lead swelled to 16-0 on the first of two Colin Hughes (Lutherville, Md./Towson) goals with 6:50 remaining before Jamal White broke up the shutout with 4:30 on the clock.
• Sean Maruschak (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) had a goal and an assist to key a 4-1 fourth quarter that set the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• McDaniel finished with a an advantage of 49-16 in shots.
• In addition to Sean Maruschak recording his first collegiate points in the fourth quarters, Gabe Jensen (West Chester, Pa./The Tatnall School) and Joe Kieffer (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson West Lawn) each found the back of the net for the first time in their careers in the final 5:57 of the game.
• The Green Terror scored 20 goals in back-to-back games for the first time since Apr. 1992.
