THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked seventh in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll, scored the first nine goals to help top McDaniel, 20-2.

THE LEADERS
• Dom Calderoni (Glen Cove, N.Y./North Shore) led the Green Terror with a pair of goals.

FOR THE FOES
• Jake Fletcher led the Bullets with five goals and three assists.
• Nick Cooper added three goals and four assists.
• Kieran Ward chipped in a goal and five assists.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Kiera Ward finished a solo run with 12:43 to play in the opening quarter before hitting Nick Cooper to double the lead 20 seconds later. Back-to-back Jack Fletcher goals pushed the lead to 4-0 with 4:47 to play. Fletcher the finished his hat trick with four seconds remaining in the first quarter for a 7-0 advantage.
• McGain Wnek and Aidan Wykoff pushed the lead to 9-0 midway through the second quarter before a Dom Calderoni unassisted tally broke up the shutout with 1:43 remaining. Quinton Mather made it 10-1 just 1:06 before the break, though.
• Fletcher scored two more in the first 4:26 of the third quarter to ignite a 10-0 run before Calderoni finished off a pass from Eric Manfredonia (Ramsey, N.J./St. Joseph Regional) with 22 ticks left.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 57-26 advantage in shots.
• Nathan Biddle (Easton, Md./Saints Peter and Paul) picked up four ground balls and added a caused turnover.
