• Zachary Shrift (Elizabethtown, Pa./Hershey) led the Green Terror with ground balls, four caused turnovers, and an assist.

• Wyatt Malia led the Mules with two goals and two assists.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Wyatt Malia broke a scoreless deadlock with 6:51 to play in the first quarter before PJ Lombara converted a man-up opportunity 1:13 later to double the lead. Ryan May found Jack Kraemer then finished an Ethan Grossman pass in the final 1:01 of the first quarter before Andrew Sokolowski tacked on a fifth first-quarter tally in the final 11 seconds.
• Malia had a goal and two assists to key a five-goal second quarter for the Mules.
• Jack Taub found the back of the net with 4:51 left in the third to stop a scoreless period. Micah Brooks (Woolford, Md./Cambridge South Dorchester) broke up the shutout off a long feed from Zachary Shift with 1:27 to play in the period.
• Dom Calderoni (Glen Cove, N.Y./North Shore) found the back of the net with 9:25 showing in the fourth before Muhlenberg tacked on two more in the quarter. Jackson Kratovil (Stevensville, Md./Kent Island) wrapped up the scoring with 2:10 to play.
THE INSIDE STORY
• The assist for Zachary Shrift was his first collegiate point. The senior also had season highs in both ground balls (6) and caused turnovers (2).
• Brighton Lorber (Lutherville, Md./Loyola Blakefield) made 18 saves in goal for McDaniel.
• Muhlenberg finished with a 46-21 advantage in shots, including 34-4 in the decisive opening half.
