THE SKINNY STORY
Franklin & Marshall, ranked 17th in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll, scored 11 first-quarter goals in a 26-3 win over McDaniel.

THE LEADERS
Dom Calderoni (Glen Cove, N.Y./North Shore) led the Green Terror with a goal and two assists.

FOR THE FOES
• Luke Keating led the Diplomats with five goals and four assists.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Two Blake Target goals around a Luke Keating tally staked Franklin & Marshall to a 3-0 lead in the game's first 2:52. Christian Sullivan found the back of the net twice to make it 5-0 at the 6:57 mark before six different Diplomats scored over the final 5:08 of the period for an 11-0 lead.
• Three goals from Keating and back-to-back Spencer Hall tallies helped push the advantage to 18-0 with 7:37 to play in the second period. John Lux (Cornwall, Pa./Cedar Crest) got McDaniel on the board with a man-up tally off a Dom Calderoni feed with 3:27 to play in the opening half.
• Franklin & Marshall ripped off another five goals in the third quarter for a 23-1 lead after three.
• The advantage ballooned to 26-1 before Calderoni found Brian Katz (Rockville, Md./St. Johns College) with 1:04 to play and Calderoni finished from Matthew Wilson (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) with 24 ticks left.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Franklin & Marshall outshot McDaniel 54-18, including 18-0 in the first quarter.
• The Diplomats had 12 different players find the back of the net 16 players register a point.

NEXT UP
McDaniel returns to action at home against Muhlenberg on Saturday. Game time is 12 p.m.
