Micahel Long (Hampstead, Md./Boys' Latin School of Maryland) led the Green Terror (4-2) with two goals.
Ethan Gain paced the Lions (1-4) with two goals and an assist.
Trailing 5-1 after five straight Albright goals, Jackson Reilly (Churchton, Md./Southern) snapped a 22-minute, 30-second scoreless drought with an unassisted tally at the 6:03 mark of the second quarter.
Frankie Kratovil (Stevensville, Md./Kent Island) found the back of the net and then found Devon Maranto (Dayton, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) to make it a 5-4 game with 3:09 remaining in the period.
Long converted a man-up opportunity with 12 ticks showing to even the game at the break.
Goals from Cole Hinds and Gain gave the hosts a 7-5 lead after the third quarter but Jake Schoenick (Port Republic, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) started another four-goal run for McDaniel with 9:24 to play.
Bryce Brookhart (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) evened the game with 7:01 to play before Long gave the Green Terror an 8-7 edge off a feed from Kratovil with 5:35 on the clock.
Micah Brooks (Woolford, Md./Cambridge South Dorchester) added an insurance goal wtih 2:42 to play before Jake Bobel set the final margin with 1:12 showing.
Carson Marshall (Brookeville, Md./Glenelg) staked McDaniel to a 1-0 lead just 1:27 into the game before Shane Early stared the 5-0 Albright run in a 7-minute, 28-second stretch.
Marshall also picked up nine ground balls in the victory.
The Green Terror returns to action at Delaware Valley on Wednesday. Game time is 7 p.m.
