Micah Brooks (Woolford, Md./Cambridge South Dorchester) made his debut for the Green Terror (1-0) with five goals.
Brian Shultis led the Mighty Macs (0-2) with two goals and an assist.
Tied at 4-all at the break, McDaniel opened the second half on the man-up and Brooks finished his second marker of the day 18 seconds into the stanza to give the hosts the lead for good.
Jackson Kratovil stretched the lead to 6-4 just 51 seconds later before Ethan Johnson converted in transition for a short-handed marker, cutting the deficit to 6-5 with exactly 13:00 showing.
Carson Marshall (Brookeville, Md./Glenelg) hit Bryce Brookhart (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron), who finished for the first of his two goals with 5:29 showing to spark a seven-goal outburst in a 10-minute, 13-second stretch.
Brooks netted three times during the run while Brookhart had two goals and an assist.
Sam Mutz (Swarthmore, Pa./Strath Haven) scored with 10:16 to play in the fourth quarter to cap the run and complete his hat trick.
Shultis set the final margin, scoring for Immaculata with 2:48 to play.
Jackson Reilly (Churchton, Md./Southern) opened the scoring at the 11:57 mark of the first quarter before back-to-back Mutz tallies made it a 3-0 game before 3 minutes, 21 seconds had elapsed.
After Shultis and Brooks traded goals, the Mighty Macs netted three straight to draw the game even at the break.
Michael Valencia (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) led the defense with four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Will Rund (Elkridge, Md./Howard) went 15-for-19 on faceoffs in his collegiate debut while Bailey Gunter (Winston-Salem, N.C./Mount Tabor) made his debut in net with six saves.
McDaniel finished with a 38-20 advantage in shots and 34-21 advantage in ground balls.
