Box Score CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson scored the final four goals of the game to tally a 7-2 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's lacrosse action on Wednesday.
Chase Hartman (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) led the Green Terror (2-7, 0-2 CC), scoring both goals.
Rob Kendall paced the Red Devils (6-2, 1-0 CC) with three goals and an assist.
Kendall and Tyler Llewellyn staked Dickinson to a 2-0 lead, finishing solo runs 35 seconds apart to open up a lead 3 minutes, 26 seconds into the game.
Hartman finished a solo run of his own to cut the deficit in half with 9:13 on the first-quarter clock.
Kendall pushed the lead back to two with 7:44 showing before Hartman made it a 3-2 game with 4:28 remaining in the opening period.
That score remained for nearly 15 minutes until Kendall returned the favor for John Lockwood and made it a 4-2 game at the break.
Kendall tallied the only goal of the third quarter, scoring with 12:48 on the clock.
Chris Menard found the back of the net with 10:24 remaining in the fourth quarter before Chris Clementi set the final margin with 50 ticks left.
Dickinson finished with a 38-28 advantage in shots while McDaniel had a 24-23 edge in ground balls.
Kyle Savick (Port Deposit, Md./Perryville) went 4-for-6 on faceoffs. Eric Ritchie (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage) made nine saves in goal.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Haverford on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
