WESTMINSTER, Md. – Oneonta scored twice in the third quarter to top McDaniel 4-3 in non-conference men's lacrosse action on Saturday.

Will Kroppe (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) led the Green Terror (1-4) in the defensive battle with seven ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Hunter DeLuca notched the eventual game-winner for the Red Dragons (2-1), scoring with 1:09 to play in the third quarter for a 4-2 lead.

Zach Monzo (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) finished a Dylan Chaikin (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) with 3:48 to play, setting the final margin.

Robert Neubert and Corbin Schmucker (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch) traded first-quarter goals before Connor Coyle and Jared Payne (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) exchange tallies in the second.

Payne score his first collegiate goal with 1:09 remaining until halftime.

Taylor Kalbacher finished a solo run to put Oneonta on top for good with 3:43 to play in the third.

Eric Ritchie (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage) made 12 saves in goal for the Green Terror while Ryan Adler had 15 stops for the Red Dragons.

McDaniel finished with a 41-35 advantage in shots.

The Green Terror returns to action at Albright on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
