Patrick Serio (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) led the Green Terror (7-5, 4-2 CC) with five goals.
Jon Thomas led the Mules (3-8, 0-6 CC) as one of three players with two goals.
After Sean Brett (Hamilton, N.J./Notre Dame) and Steven Casella traded goals in the game's first 6:26, Serio finished the first of four Pat Bivons (Cockeysville, Md./Loyola Blakefield) assists to give McDaniel the lead for good with 7:21 showing in the first quarter.
Zach Monzo (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) finished a Jason Lawrence (Fallston, Md./Fallston) pass with 3:40 on the clock to push the lead to 3-2 before Brad D'Alessandro scored 14 seconds later to close the deficit to one after one quarter.
Brett and Serio each found the back of the net a second time in the first 4:41 of the second quarter to push the lead to 5-2.
Thomas finished a solo run with 9:08 remaining to make it a 5-3 game before Lawrence and Monzo went back-to-back two minutes apart.
Tom Kellerman scored with just 10 seconds left in the period to make it a 7-4 game at the break.
Goals from Thomas and D'Alessandro around a Serio solo run accounted for the third-quarter scoring, making it an 8-6 game entering the final period.
Serio and Lawrence each finished solo runs to stretch the advantage to four before Kyle Fielder (Reisterstown, Md./North Carroll) scored his first collegiate goal with 10:33 on the clock before Timothy McNichol (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) capped a four-goal run that spanned just 4:14.
Niko Del Moro broke up the run to make it 12-7 with 8:31 to play before Serio and Troy Becker (Yardley, Pa./Notre Dame) pushed it to 14-7 with 5:20 remaining.
Casella capped the scoring with 2:10 showing.
Zac Bitzer (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks) led the defense with three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
