WESTMINSTER, Md. - On Tuesday, the McDaniel College women's soccer team was receiving votes in the Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC) Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Green Terror have been mentioned in the national poll in three of the last four seasons.

Messiah was ranked at No. 9 nationally while Johns Hopkins was at No. 17. McDaniel travels to Messiah later this evening for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Shoemaker Field in Grantham, Pa. before heading to Johns Hopkins a week from today on Wednesday, Sept. 23 for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Homewood Field.

McDaniel was also ranked fourth in the first IWSOC Region V rankings, trailing only Messiah, Johns Hopkins, and Swarthmore. York (PA), who McDaniel tied 2-2 in the season opener for both teams on September 1, was ranked fifth while Dickinson came in at No. 7.

Following tonight's game against the Falcons, McDaniel returns home to open Centennial Conference play on Saturday against Bryn Mawr at the Soccer Complex beginning at noon.
