LANCASTER, Pa. - McDaniel College men's golf senior Sean Kelly was named Centennial Conference men's golf Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

This is Kelly's first conference athlete of the week honor and the fifth for the Green Terror in the last four years.

Kelly finished fourth at The Gauntlet hosted by Drew University at Bucknell Golf Club. He totaled a 140 over 36 holes for his second top-5 finish in as many events this season. He turned in a career-best 1-under par 69 in the first round before carding a 1-over par 71.

Kelly had nine birdies and led McDaniel to a fourth-place team finish. His two-day total tied Franklin & Marshall's Oliver Clark for the top finish among Centennial Conference competitors.

McDaniel returns to action next week in the Northeast Elite hosted by Penn State Altoona at Williamsport Country Club.
