WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Senior Ethan Crabb finished second with a new 36-hole career-best to lead McDaniel College men's golf to a third-place team finish at the Northeast Elite Monday at Williamsport Country Club.

The Green Terror totaled a 580 to finish three strokes behind Rochester who took home top team honors with a 577. Gettysburg finished second with a 578. Just three strokes separated the top three teams while Dickinson finished fourth, 15 strokes behind McDaniel.

Rochester's Alvin Su won low medalist honors with a 9-under par 133, finishing nine strokes ahead of Gettysburg's Daniel Casanta who moved up 27 spots after carding a 4-under par 67 in Monday's second round.

Crabb, Casanta and Penn State Altoona's Andrew Bruce finished in a three-way tie with a 142.

Crabb's previous 36-hole best was 144 set in the Transy Fall Invite on Sept. 1, 2024. After a career-low 3-under par 68 in Sunday's opening round, he turned in a 3-over par 74 in the second. He had 12 pars and two birdies and was even par through the first 10 holes.

Senior Charlie Dolan totaled a 3-over par 145 to finish in a four-way tie for ninth. He also had 12 pars and two birdies, finishing the front nine at even par. It was his third top 10 finish in three events this season.

Senior Sean Kelly finished just one stroke behind Dolan with a career-best 146, carding a 73 in both rounds. He finished the final five holes at 2-under par on Monday with birdies on the par-5, 514-yard 16th and the par-5, 508-yard 18th.

First-year Dylan Muso placed 18th with a 147 after a second-round 77 in his second career 36-hole event.

First-year Jack Manfre rounded out the Green Terror five in 34th with a 152 which also included a second-round 77.

McDaniel travels to Douglasville, Ga. next Monday, Oct. 6 for the 36-hole West Pines Collegiate at West Pines Golf Club.
