LANCASTER, Pa. - McDaniel College women's lacrosse junior Kat Thayer was named to the All-Centennial Conference Second Team on Tuesday.

Thayer earned her first career honor for the Green Terror who have had at least one all-conference selection in each of their 31 seasons in the Centennial Conference. There were no all-conference selections in 2020 due to COVID.

Thayer finished the season as the team's leader in goals (38), assists (25), points (63), ground balls (38), caused turnovers (25), and draw controls (65) and is believed to be the first person in program history to lead the team in each major statistical category.

Thayer ranks fourth in the conference in caused turnovers, seventh in ground balls, ninth in the conference in points and 10th in assists. She also ranks 11th in draw controls and 14th in goals.

With 125 career draw controls, Thayer ranks 10th in program history.
