Brown Earns Most Outstanding Performer at Conference Meet

LANCASTER, Pa. - McDaniel College men's track & field senior Alex Brown was named Most Outstanding Performer of the Meet at the 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship Sunday at Franklin & Marshall.

The Green Terror placed seventh with 55 points. Johns Hopkins finished first with 175 points.

Brown won the long jump with a mark of 6.61m (21' 8.25"), the fourth-best all-time mark in program history and the program's eighth-best indoor mark at the conference championship. Senior Oral-Anthony Coleman placed second with a mark of 6.53m (21' 5.25"), moving him in to seventh in program history. Junior Christian Homer placed ninth with a mark of 6.24m (20' 5.75").

Graduate student Chett Brunner won the shot put with a personal best mark of 15.60m (51' 2.25"). He is the program's fifth indoor shot put conference champion and finishes his career as a four-time indoor conference medalist. Junior Jayden Rodwell placed eighth with a mark of 12.42m (40' 9").

Senior Kyle Hubbard placed second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.82 seconds. This is the fourth season in a row a Green Terror has medaled in the 60-meter hurdles.

Coleman placed third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.03 seconds. He has medaled in the event all four years during his career. This year marked his third bronze.

The 4x400-meter relay team of junior Ethan Bush, senior Anders Madsen, junior Jack Reiser, and graduate student Tyler Richardson placed seventh with a time of 3:31.37.

Coleman placed eighth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.83 seconds. Senior Kyle Silver placed 22nd in 24.19 seconds, junior Armani Moya-Moore placed 23rd in 24.34 seconds and sophomore Seyi Adelaja placed 24th in 24.38 seconds.

Bush placed 11th in the 400 meters with a time of 52.76 seconds, Richardson placed 15th in 54.38 seconds and Reiser placed 18th with a time of 54.86 seconds.

Brown placed 12th in the high jump with a mark of 1.70m (5' 7") and Homer placed 14th with the same mark.

Junior Jack Sears placed 18th in the mile with a time of 4:35.04 and Madsen placed 26th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.49.

The Green Terror close out their season at the South Region Final Qualifier hosted by Shenandoah on Friday, March 7.
