READING, PA – The men's indoor track & field team traveled to Alvernia for the PLEX Shootout.
First year David Smith ran 7.15 in the 60 meter dash to place sixth, he moves to fourth in program history. Sophomore Robert Wood ran 7.49 to place 31st. First year Kyan Hayes ran 8.18 to place 57th.
Senior Ethan Bush ran 2:00.46 in the 800 meters to place seventh, this mark moves him to ninth in program history. First year Isaac Greeson ran 2:11.85 to place 34th. Junior Fabrizzio Verano Valderrama ran 2:24.01 to place 47th. Senior Simon Greenberg ran 2:37.31 to place 54th.
Smith also placed fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.85m. Senior Christian Homer placed 20th with a mark of 1.65m. Senior Keiron Wilson jumped 1.60m to place 26th.
First year Caleb Andoh placed sixth in the 60 meter hurdles, running 8.96. Junior Roman Arensmeyer ran 9.24 to place eighth.
Wilson took seventh in triple jump with a mark of 12.26m. Homer jumped 11.99m to place eighth.
Graduate student John Geniti placed 16th in pole vault with a mark of 3.60m.
The 4x400 meter relay of Bush, Junior Braylon Johnson, Senior Armani Moya-Moore, and Greeson ran 3:41.46 to place eight.
Johnson placed 15th in the long jump with a mark of 5.84m. First year Aden Flaherty jumped 5.74m to place 19th. Homer placed 21st, jumping 5.72m. Wilson jumped 5.65m to place 23rd.
Flaherty ran 58.20 to place 25th in the 400 meters. First year Logan Kille ran 1:01.75 placing 27th.
Junior Jacob Gibson threw 10.58m in weight throw to place 29th. He also placed 46th in shot put with a mark of 10.19m.
Andoh ran 24.27 in the 200 meters to place 31st. Johnson placed 41st running 24.79. Wood ran 24.96 to place 46th. Moya-Moore ran 25.36 to place 57th. Flaherty ran 25.95 to place 66th. Arensmeyer ran 26.16, placing 68th. Hayes placed 71st with a time of 26.57.
First year Samuel Favazza ran 5:09.92 to place 31st in the 1 mile.
Sophomore Parker Foster placed 40th in the 5000 meters running 19:15.74.
The 4x400 meter squad of Flaherty, Favazza, Verano Valderrama, and Kille ran 4:09.43 to place 19th.
McDaniel will return to action for the Mini-Dip Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall on Saturday February 7th.
