WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The McDaniel College men's outdoor track & field team traveled to the College of William & Mary for the Colonial Relays on Friday, posting three Centennial Conference qualifying marks and three new entires on the program's top-10 list.
In the 400-meter hurdles, senior
Nick Razze placed second with a time of 53.63 seconds which is the second-fastest time in Division III this season. Junior
Kyle Hubbard posted a personal-best time of 58.09 seconds top place 17th. Both qualified for the 2023 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
In the 1,500 meters, freshman
Jack Sears ran a time of 4:04.74 while sophomore
Anders Madsen followed right behind with a time of 4:04.80. The two posted the ninth and 10th fastest times in program history.
Madsen also placed 18th in the 800 meters with a time of 1:56.68 to qualify for the conference meet.
Sophomore
Jeremiah Maxwell ran a time of 50.06 second in the 400-meter dash to place 33rd with a personal best that ranks ninth in program history. He also finished 32nd in the 200 meters, running a time of 22.54 seconds. Sophomore
Oral-Anthony Coleman placed 39th in 22.75 seconds.
Coleman placed 43rd in the 100-meter dash running in a time of 10.15 seconds while junior
Tyren Proctor followed behind in 11.42 seconds.
The men's team will have a split squad on Saturday, competing in the second day of the Colonial Relays while the other half of the team travels to Millersville University for the Millersville Metrics.
