THE LEADERS
• Parker Murphy (Onancock, Va./Nandua) led the Green Terror, throwing a complete game in the circle in game one while also adding her first two collegiate hits at the plate.
• Hannah Raygor (Frederick, Md./Seneca Valley) had two home runs among her three hits in the opener.

• Jillian Haines added five hits and four RBIs.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In game one, Megan Hamp and Rebecca Henry led off the second with back-to-back singles up the middle. After a single to right and a pop up, Elizabeth Russo singled through the right side to score Hamp. McKenzie Tobler followed with a bases-loaded walk before the runner at third left early on a sacrifice fly attempt to end the frame.
• With two outs in the bottom of the inning, Olivia Dresser (Valrico, Fla./Newsome) knocked a ball up the middle before Isabella Sylvester beat out an infield single and Kylie Sears (Lusby, Md./Patuxent) singled up the middle to make it a 2-1 game.
Parker Murphy led off the home fourth with a single up the middle before an error on a sacrifice attempt put runners at the corners. Sylvester followed with a double to the gap, tying the game at 2-all. Sears followed with a single through the right side that scored Dresser and an obstruction call allowed Sylvester to also come home for a 4-2 lead. With one out and Sears at third after a wild pitch, Megan Cappadora (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) singled home her home. Mattie Whalen (Magnolia, N.J./Sterling) blasted a two-run home run to center field before Hannah Raygor (Frederick, Md./Seneca Valley) made it back-to-back jacks with a long ball to left center. Madison Froemel (Suffolk, Va./Kings Fork) followed that with a single laced back up the middle. A Murphy double and errant throw scored pinch-runner Mandy Butz (Perry Hall, Md./Perry Hall) to cap the eight-run inning and make it 9-2.
• Kat Perea led off the fifth with a single before a two-out Hamp double, back-to-back walks, and a Rivers Edwards single trimmed the margin to 9-4.
• Sears and Megan Horsey (Chesapeake City, Md./Bohemia Manor) led off the bottom of the fifth with back-to-back singles. After Sears swiped third on a pickoff attempt with runners at the corners, Angelina Tyler (Columbia, Md./Howard) came in as a pinch runner and scored on a Whalen sacrifice fly. Raygor then took a 2-2 pitch to center field that carried through the wind for a two-run home run, ending the game.
• Perea led off game two with a double to left before moving to third on a sacrifice and scoring on a throwing error. After a wild pitch, Hamp doubled to put runners at second and third, Two more fielding errors and a wild pitch stretched the lead to 3-0 with just one out in the top of the first.
• Sylvester led off the bottom of the inning with a single before a two-out Evie Craig (Valby, Denmark/International School of Hellerup) single to right made it 3-1. A walk and fielding error closed the deficit to 3-2.
• Two more errors in the second led to 10 unearned Mustang runs. Hamp, Jillian Haines, and Maddie Bosley all had two-run doubles in the frame.
• A Sylvester double and Makayla Calamita (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood Area) single made it 13-3 in the bottom of the second.
• Two more errors in the next two frames helped stretch the lead to 15-3 before Keilani Rebollo (Millersville, Md./Old Mill) drew a leadoff walk in the home fourth. Sylvester followed with her third hit of the game before a Julia Dimmick (Silver Spring, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chease) double scored Rebollo and a Calamita ground ball plated Sylvester to made it 15-5.
• Two more errors to go with three hits and a sacrifice fly tacked on the final four runs in the top of the fifth.
