• Taylor Peterson went 3-for-4 with two runs scored to lead the Warriors.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the opener, Kaitlyn Schmitz doubled to the gap with one out in the first. After Lauren Kersch was hit by a pitch, Taylor Riccardi and Audrey Minton each singled for a 3-0 lead.
• A Leah VanDerwarker two-run home run stretched the advantage to 5-0 in the second.
• A pair of errors and walk coupled with two singles pushed the lead to 8-0 in the third for the final margin.
• Wisconsin Lutheran had four hits in the bottom of the first inning, including a Katie Scott double to cap the three-run frame.
• With one out in the third, Mattie Whalen (Magnolia, N.J./Sterling) drew a walk before taking second on a wild pitch. Kylie Sears (Lusby, Md./Patuxent) followed with a walk of her own before a Megan Horsey (Chesapeake City, Md./Bohemia Manor) single plated Whalen. After an Evie Craig (Valby, Denmark/International School of Hellerup) single loaded the bases, Makayla Calamita singled home Sears and a two-run Paytyn Hazelton (Port St. Lucie, Fla./Seminole Ridge) single gave McDaniel a 4-3 lead.
• Olivia Plewa came on in relief and issued a walk before retiring 14 of the final 15 hitters she faced.
• The Warriors tied the game in the bottom of the third on a Makayla Huff sacrifice fly before taking the lead in the fourth on a Gracie Wilson RBI groundout.
• Three singles to go with three stolen bases, including a first-third double steal, led to two-run fifth for the 7-4 final.
• In the finale, three straight two-out singles from Raygor, Julia Dimmick (Silver Spring, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase), and Whalen staked McDaniel to a 1-0 lead in the second.
• Five singles and a Raygor grand slam made it a 7-0 game in the third.
• Nikki Vanelli and Maddie Capetta hit back-to-back one-out solo home runs in the fourth to make it 7-2.
• Six singles, another first-third double steal, and throwing error allowed Salve Regina to tie the game at 7-all in the home fifth.
• With pinch-runner Angelina Tyler (Columbia, Md./Howard) at second base to start the eighth, she stole third before scoring on a Dimmick squeeze for an 8-7 lead.
• Abbie McDonugh bunted pinch-runner Morganti Bello to third in the bottom of the frame before Alex Kelly poked a single into shallow right to tie the game.
• Sears came through with a two-out single to the gap to score Isabella Sylvester (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) from second in the ninth for a 9-8 lead.
