The Green Terror (1-5) dropped a 9-1 decision to No. 12 Ramapo in five innings before falling 3-2 to Ohio Northern.
Tayler Hishon (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) led McDaniel with two hits on the day.
Against the Roadrunners (1-1), Harper Patsko drew a leadoff walk in the second before a Shannon Cox double made it 1-0. A passed ball and sacrifice fly doubled the lead.
Ramapo doubled the advantage in the third on a Jackie Howarth bunt single and Krista Verrino single and two-base error. Another sacrifice fly capped the two-run inning.
A Sisi Machinski two-run single and Howarth two-run home run in the fourth pushed the lead to 8-0.
Hishon led off the bottom of the inning with an infield single before a passed ball and two walks loaded the bases. An Alicia Wagner (Bradenton, Fla./Lakewood Ranch) sacrifice fly plated Hishon for the squad's first run of the day.
A throwing error and Cox RBI single in the top of the fifth reestablished the eight-run lead and allowed the game to end early.
Against the Polar Bears (10-2), a fielding error, sacrifice and two-out Jordan Cloonan single to right staked Ohio Northern to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third.
Back-to-back singles up the middle from Leanna Henry and Gabby Stewart led off the fifth before a groundout and throwing error made it a 3-0 game.
Kara Flynn (Port St. Lucie, Fla./Treasure Coast) was hit by a pitch to lead off the sixth before Maryanna Lynch (Newark, Del./Archmere Academy) doubled to the fence in center field.
A Hishon single off the pitcher's glove scored Flynn before Megan Coyle (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman) beat out an infield single to score Lynch to cut the deficit to 3-2 but Kaitlin Surdej worked out of runners at third in both the sixth and seventh to preserve the win.
