The Green Terror (24-15-1, 14-1-1 CC) took the opener 3-2 before winning game two 10-2 in six innings to capture the No. 1 seed in next weekend's conference tournament. McDaniel will host the four-team, double-elimination tournament on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Green Terror does not yet know its first-round opponent. With two outs, an illegal pitch was called to initially score Craig with the tying run but after a protest from the McDaniel dugout and a consultation with the rulebook, the call was overturned and Craig was returned to third base.
Johnson induced a groundball for the final out and her 10th win of the season in the circle. She fanned six in the complete-game victory.
In game two, Jamie Weisser (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) led off the second with a single before taking second on a wild pitch and scoring on a Coyle single for a 1-0 lead.

The Green Terror tacked on five more runs in the fourth to stretch the lead to 9-0.
Miller led off the inning with a double before scoring on a Tayler Hishon (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) home run to center field.
Weisser, Coyle, Michael put together three straight singles to make it a 7-0 game before a Deichman RBI groundout and Roxana Aviles (Manassas, Va./Osbourne) double stretched the lead to nine.
A two-out walk and back-to-back doubles by Rachel Wolfson and Ashley Sisto cut the deficit to 9-2 in the bottom of the fifth.
A Michael infield single, sacrifice, Maring single and error pushed the lead to 10-2 in the sixth.
