Jamie Weisser (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) led McDaniel with a pair of hits, including a triple in game one.
Against the Pilgrims (7-11), Alicia Wagner (Bradenton, Fla./Lakewood Ranch) led off the second inning with a double to right field.
A one-out fielding error allowed Carly Deichman (Easton, Pa./Freedom) to reach.
After a strikeout, New England College got a popup but the ball was dropped, allowing both runners to score for a 2-0 lead.
Weisser drove a one-out triple to the gap in the fifth inning before giving way to pinch-runner Morgan Scardina (Pasadena, Md./Seton Keough).
With two outs, Wagner roped another double to plate Scardina before another fielding error allowed pinch-runner Cricket Lowe (Gaithersburg, Md./Magruder) to score for the final margin.
Fiona Johnson (Derwood, Md./Magruder) went the distance in the circle, striking out four and walking none for her first shutout.
In the nightcap with the Polar Bears (2-0), the starting pitchers combined to allow just five baserunners through the first four innings.
Julia Geaumont helped her own cause, reaching on a fielding error to lead off the fifth before giving way to pinch-runner Ali Miller.
After Miller stole second, Samantha Valdivia drove a double to deep center field with one out for the game's first run.
Lauren O'Shea led off the sixth with a double before a one-out Caroline Rice single up the middle put runners at the corners.
After a two-out walk loaded the bases, Katie Gately doubled to make it a 3-0 game.

McDaniel returns to action against Ripon and Agnes Scott on Thursday. The first game begins at 3 p.m. with the nightcap scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
