Scardina led off the third inning with a walk before stealing second. After a Payton Lewis (Valrico, Fla./Durant) single up the middle but runners at the corners, Weisser drove in Scardina with an RBI groundout for a 3-0 lead.
Back-to-back singles from Olivia Kipe (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) and Megan Liebknecht (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key) put two runners on.
A Maring single to the gap scored Kipe and moved pinch-runner Caitlin Justice (Stuart, Fla./Jensen Beach) to third.
