Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – McDaniel rallied with three seventh-inning runs to register a sweep on the team's final day of the 2013 Rebel Spring Games in non-conference softball action on Friday.

The Green Terror (11-7) opened the day with a 7-1 victory over Anderson (Ind.), exacting revenge for a loss earlier in the week before rallying to down Utica 5-4 in the finale.

Jackie Liebowitz (Bellerose, N.Y./Benjamin N. Cardozo) led the offense with a 2-for-2 showing in the nightcap. Taylor Fletcher (Linden, Va./Fauquier) had three hits on day.

Katie McCool had all three hits for the Ravens (6-5), who had just seven base runners in the game.

Dominique Carcone paced the Pioneers (5-5) with a 3-for-4 showing while Mallory Ingalls went 2-for-3 showing in game two.

Rachel Sidney (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) walked to lead off the bottom of the first before stealing second.

After back-to-back walks to Tracy Davis (Christiansburg, Va./Christiansburg) and Stephanie Maring (Woodbine, Md./South Carroll) loaded the bases for Fletcher, who was hit by a pitch to force in Fletcher with the first run of the game.

Sam Stitely (Westminster, Md./North Carroll) drew a one-out walk in the second. After a wild pitch, a Sidney single and fielding error allowed Stitely to score for a 2-0 lead.

Samantha Steele reached on a two-out error in the top of the third before stealing second and scoring on a second error to make it a 2-1 game.

Amy Baumgardner (Hanover, Pa./South Western) led off the fifth with a single before a Davis one-out single put two runners on base.

A wild pitch moved both runners up a base for Maring, who singled home Baumgardner. An error on the play put Davis on third and Maring on second.

After Fletcher walked to load the bases, Emily Sneeringer (Hanover, Pa./South Western) was hit by a pitch to force home Davis.

An error on a Stacey Armacost (Glenville, Pa./South Western) fielder's choice plated Maring before Stitely singled home Fletcher for a 6-1 lead.

Sidney drew a walk to score pinch runner Leigh Blohm (Bel Air, Md./Toms River North [N.J.]) to set the final margin.

Trailing 5-0 in game two, Blohm reached on an error to lead off the top of the fifth inning.

Back-to-back singles from Armacost and Sidney loaded the bases with no outs.

Ally Galati (Milford, Pa./Cornwall Central) followed with an RBI groundout to plate Blohm for McDaniel's first run of the game.

Fletcher led off the sixth with a double before scoring on a Liebowitz single two batters later.

Trailing 4-2, Sidney and Galati drew walks to lead off the top of the seventh before Maring reached on a fielder's choice to put runners at the corners with one out.

With two outs, Fletcher and Lindsey Blohm (Bel Air, Md./Toms River North [N.J.]) drew back-to-back walks to make it a one-run game.

After Fletcher gave way to pinch-runner Baumgardner at second, Liebowitz was hit by a pitch to force home Maring with the tying run.

A walk to Leigh Blohm forced in Baumgardner with the eventual winning run.

A Meghan Matan single, stolen base and Bridgette Plummer double staked the Pioneers to a 1-0 lead in the first inning.

Three straight singles to lead off the second loaded the bases before a one-out single from Christy Traglia stretched the lead to 3-0.

Courtney Fitzgerald was hit by a pitch with one out in the fourth before pinch-runner Chelsea Monroe scored on an Ingalls single for the 4-0 advantage.

Caroline Brehm (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) threw all 14 innings in the circle, recording 18 strikeouts to improve to 10-3 on the season.

The Green Terror opens the Centennial Conference schedule at home against Dickinson on Tuesday. The first game of the doubleheader begins at 3 p.m.
