LANCASTER, Pa. - McDaniel College men's soccer senior
Charlie Olson was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
It is the first career honor for Olson and second-straight for the Green Terror as sophomore
Nicholas Clarke received the first honor of the season on September 9. McDaniel has had 10 conference player of the week selections over the last five seasons.
Olson led McDaniel in scoring with nine points on three goals and three assists last week as the team remained unbeaten through four games this season while extending its regular season home unbeaten streak to seven. He scored the game-winning goal in both wins and had a hand in six of the team's nine goals last week.
Olson currently leads the Centennial Conference in points and game-winning goals while ranking second in assists and third in goals.
McDaniel hits the road for the first time this season tomorrow afternoon when it makes the short 32-mile trip to Goucher. Kickoff from Beldon Field is at 4 p.m.
