KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On Friday, the McDaniel College men's soccer team was honored by the United Soccer Coaches with a College Team Academic Award for its exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.

The Green Terror, who earned their first-ever Team Academic Award in 2024, received their third in-a-row with a 3.29 grade-point average. They were one of seven teams from the Centennial Conference to be honored, joining Dickinson, Gettysburg, Haverford, Muhlenberg, Swarthmore, and Ursinus.

McDaniel was also one of only four schools in the conference, joining Haverford, Muhlenberg, and Swarthmore, to have both its men's and women's teams receive the honor.

A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 175 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
