Beckett Headlines Three All-Centennial Conference Selections

LANCASTER, Pa. - McDaniel College women's basketball senior Elaina Beckett was named Centennial Conference Player of the Year on Wednesday, highlighting three all-conference selections for the team.

Beckett was also named to the first team while junior Teya McConnaha and sophomore Lauren Cavoli were both received All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention honors.

A four-time all-conference selection, Beckett is the fourth Green Terror to be named Centennial Conference Player of the Year honors and first since Lindsey Nichols in 2016. Beckett is also just the second player in program history to earn four All-Centennial Conference honors, joining Jen Piccolomini who was honored each season from 2000-03.

Beckett leads the Centennial Conference in scoring at 19.5 points per game and has scored at least 20 points in 11 games this season, scoring at least 30 three times, including a career-high 36 points, two shy of the school record, in an 80-60 win at St. Mary's (Md.) on November 13. She is ranked third on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,451 points.

Beckett also leads the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 49.6 percent while ranking second in three-point field goal percentage at 34.2 percent and sixth in free throw percentage at 78.4 percent. She is also second in the conference in steals with 2.7 per game, sixth in blocks at 1.3 per game, seventh in assists at 3.0 per game, and fourth in assist-to-turnover ratio with a 1.9 average.

McConnaha earned her second consecutive all-conference selection after earning honorable mention honors a year ago. She was also named Rookie of the Year in 2024. She is nearly averaging a double double this season at 11.0 points and 9.4 rebounds. She leads the team and ranks fourth in the conference in rebounding while ranking third on the team and 14th in the conference in scoring. She is one of only five players in the conference to rank in the top 15 in both scoring and rebounding.

McConnaha has totaled eight double doubles in points and rebounds this season, including seven in-a-row from January 14 to February 7. She has totaled 10 or more rebounds in a game 13 times, grabbing a career-high 17 in a 67-29 win at Dickinson on January 14.

Cavoli received her first all-conference selection after a stellar second season in which she is averaging 11.4 points, 3.7 assists, and 1.9 steals while leading the team in three-pointers made with 50. She leads the Centennial Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio while ranking fifth in assists, eighth in steals, and 13th in scoring. She is one of just four players to rank in the top 10 in the conference in both assists and steals.

Cavoli is one of just two players, along with McConnaha, to start all 27 of the team's games this season while totaling 100 assists. Her and junior Raegan Lenz, who leads the team with 117 assists, are the first duo in team history to each total 100 assists in a season.

In addition to all-conference honors, the Centennial Conference announced the 2026 All-Sportsmanship Team for women's basketball with sophomore Kendra Mason earning her first selection. She has appeared in all 27 of the team's games this season while making six starts and averaging 3.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.
