WESTMINSTER, Md. - McDaniel College women's basketball senior
Elaina Beckett was named to the 2026 D3hoops.com All-Region 5 First Team on Monday.
Beckett is just the second Green Terror to earn D3hoops.com all-region honors and first since Lindsey Nichols was also named to the first team in 2016.
The Centennial Conference Player of the Year, Beckett earned her fourth all-conference honor by being named to the first team. She leads the conference in scoring at 19.6 points per game and scored at least 20 points in 13 games this season, scoring at least 30 four times, including a career-high 36 points, two shy of the school record, in an 80-60 win at St. Mary's (Md.) on November 13. She finished her career ranked third on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,492 points.
Beckett also leads the conference in field goal percentage (49.7) and three-point field goal percentage (35.0). She is also second in the conference in steals (2.7), fifth in blocks (1.4), fifth in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.2), sixth in assists (3.3), and ninth in minutes (32.8).
Beckett was named Centennial Conference Athlete of the Week twice this season and USBWA National Player of the Week on Nov. 25, 2025.
