WESTMINSTER, Md. - McDaniel College baseball junior Ben Davis was named to the D3baseball.com All-Region 5 Third Team on Tuesday, earning his first career all-region honor.

The Green Terror have had six players earn all-region honors in the last five seasons.

Davis earned his third-straight all-conference honor this season as he was selected to the second team. He finished fifth in the conference with a .404 batting average, ranked sixth with 65 hits, sixth with 52 RBIs, eighth with a .505 on-base percentage, and ninth with 29 walks. His 65 hits were just two shy of the program's single-season record.

Davis led the team with six home runs and became the program's all-time leader in career home runs with 17 on May 3 versus Haverford. He also had 15 extra-base hits and scored 42 runs.
