GREENSBORO, N.C. - McDaniel College baseball junior Ben Davis was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-Region 5 Second Team on Tuesday.

The Green Terror have had three players earn ABCA all-region honors in the last four seasons. Shane Daly was named to the third team in 2022 and Ethan Haddock was named to the third team in 2024.

Davis earned his third-straight all-conference honor this season as he was selected to the second team. He finished fifth in the conference with a .404 batting average, ranked sixth with 65 hits, sixth with 52 RBIs, eighth with a .505 on-base percentage, and ninth with 29 walks. His 65 hits were just two shy of the program's single-season record.

Davis led the team with six home runs and became the program's all-time leader in career home runs with 17 on May 3 versus Haverford. He also had 15 extra-base hits and scored 42 runs.
