ELIZABETHTOWN Pa. – The Men's Track & Field team made one last stop before the Centennial Conference Championships. They competed at the Blue Jay Tune-Up hosted by Elizabethtown.
The Green Terror placed third in the 14 team meet scoring 96 points. Elizabethtown won with 164 points.
Graduate Student Chett Brunner won shot put with a throw of 15.46m (50-8.75), currently this mark ranks 46th in Division III. This improves his fourth all-time mark for the program. Senior Jacob Graham placed tenth with a throw of 11.67m (38-3.5). Brunner also placed second in discus with a throw of 42.11m (138-2). Sophomore Jamey Travers placed 11th throwing 33.95m (111-4). Graham placed 12th with a throw of 33.10m (108-7). Junior AJ Iglesias threw 30.53m (100-2) to place 22nd.
Graduate Student Nick Raumann won the 3000 meter steeplechase in a time of 10:35.24.
Senior Kyle Hubbard placed second in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.14. Sophomore Roman Arensmeyer placed third in a time of 16.21. Hubbard also took second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 57.42. Arensmeyer ran 62.88 to place 12th.
The 4x800 meter relay of Junior Ethan Bush, Junior Jack Reiser, Senior Anders Madsen, and Graduate Student Tyler Richardson placed second running 8:02.10. This moves them to eighth in program history.
Bush ran 50.82 in the 400 meters to place third. Reiser followed in fourth running 51.44. Richardson ran 52.36 to place 13th.
Junior Christian Homer placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 12.57m (41-3). He also placed third in the long jump with a mark of 6.27m (20-7). He placed 12th in high jump with a mark of 1.60m (5-3).
The 4x400 meter relay of Sophomore Fabrizzio Verano Valderrama, Freshman Parker Foster, Bush, and Reiser ran 3:44.08 to place third.
Homer, Senior Oral-Anthony Coleman, Freshman Jaymani Chin-Marcelle, and Sophomore Seyi Adelaja placed fourth in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 44.51.
Coleman ran 10.96 in the 100 meter to placed eighth. Adelaja placed 23rd with a time of 11.69. Coleman also placed eighth in the 200 meters in a time of 22.51. Adelaja placed 24th with a time of 23.49. Chin-Marcelle ran 23.55 to place 26th. Junior Armani Moya-Moore ran 23.88 to place 30th.
Senior Jayden Rodwell placed 10th in hammer with a throw of 34.55m (113-4). Iglesias placed 21st with a throw of 28.09m (92-2).
Foster placed 22nd in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:27.25. Verano Valderrama placed 38th with a time of 4:43.06. Sophomore John Hegarty placed 40th running 4:49.99. Junior Simon Greenberg ran 4:56.41 to place 42nd.
The Green Terror will return to action for the Centennial Conference Championship hosted by Ursinus College, the meet with start Friday May 2nd.
