WESTMINSTER, Md. - The McDaniel College men's track & field team finished third at the 2026 ECAC Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Gill Stadium on Saturday.
The Green Terror placed third out of 12 teams with 100 points. Methodist won the meet with 168.5 points while Juniata was second with 103. Delaware Valley was fourth and Kean was fifth.
Senior Jack Sears won the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:57.69, moving him into second all-time in program history. He also won the 5,000 meters in a time of 15:55.77.
Senior Ethan Bush won the 800 meters with a time of 1:55.80. He was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed second and the 4x800-meter relay that finished third.
With three medals, Bush tied the program record with six, equaling the mark set by Chett Brunner '24 and Nick Raumann '24.
First-year Caleb Andoh finish second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.83 seconds. Junior Roman Arensmeyer finished seventh at 1:01.57. He also placed third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.84 seconds.
The 4x800 relay team of Bush, first-year Isaac Greeson, junior Fabrizzio Verano Valderrama, and first-year Sam Favazza placed second with a time of 8:26.40. The 4x400 relay team of Bush, Andoh, junior Braylon Johnson, and junior Abhishek Mudireddy finished second in 3:25.40.
Graduate student John Geniti placed third in the pole vault with a mark of 3.80m.
Junior Benjamin Bouselli finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 11:23.54 and first-year David Smith placed third in high jump with a leap of 1.88m.
Mudireddy finished fourth in the 800 meters in 2:03.21 and Greeson placed seventh in 2:05.14.
Favazza placed sixth in the 1,500 meters in 4:23.08 and Smith placed sixth in the 100 meters at 11.15 seconds. Johnson placed seventh in the long jump with a mark of 5.92m and 11th in the 200 meters in 23.60 seconds.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Smith, Andoh, Johnson and first-year Caleb Gonzalez placed fifth in 43.91 seconds.
Junior Jacob Gibson placed eighth in the hammer throw with a mark of 34.41m while junior Jamey Travers placed 11th at 30.38m. Travers also placed ninth in the discus with a mark of 37.09m.
