Three Individuals Win at the Carpenter-Case Invitational

WESTMINSTER, MD – The men's outdoor track & field team competed at home for the Carpenter-Case Invitational. 

Junior Roman Arensmeyer won the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.70. 

Senior Ethan Bush ran 1:56.98 to win the 800 meters. First year Isaac Greeson ran 2:06.43 to place sixth. 

First year David Smith won the high jump with a mark of 1.80m. Senior Keiron Wilson placed fourth with a mark of 1.65m. 

The 4x400 meter relay team of Bush, Junior Braylon Johnson, Greeson, Junior Abhishek Mudireddy ran a winning time of 3:26.67. 

The 4x100 meter relay team of senior Christian Homer, Smith. First year Caleb Andoh, Johnson ran a time of 45.40 to win. 

Homer placed second in long jump with a mark of 6.36m. Johnson jumped 6.09m to place fourth. Wilson followed in fifth with a mark of 6.07m. Smith jumped 5.70m to place ninth. 

Senior Jack Sears ran 15:41.35 in the 5000 meters to place second.

Graduate student John Geniti placed second in pole vault with a vault of 3.80m. 

Wilson placed second in triple jump with a mark of 12.99m. Homer jumped 12.61m to place fourth. 

Mudireddy ran 51.76 in the 400 meters to place third. First year Kyan Hayes ran 57.14 to place ninth. 

Andoh ran 57.60 in the 400 meter hurdles to place third. Arensmeyer ran 1:00.02 to place fifth. 

Junior Jamey Travers placed fifth in hammer throw with a mark of 37.59m, this moves him to sixth in program history. Junior Jacob Gibson placed eighth with a mark of 32.23m. Senior AJ Iglesias placed tenth with a throw of 28.44m. 

Smith ran 23.54 in the 200 meters to place fifth. Sophomore Robert Wood placed sixth with a time of 23.64. Hayes ran 24.77 to place eighth.  

Wood placed seventh in the 100 meters with a time of 11.54. Hayes placed 14th with a time of 12.29. 

Travers placed eighth in discus with a mark of 33.88m. Iglesias placed 14th with a mark of 28.16m. Gibson threw 27.69m to place 15th. Gibson also placed tenth in shot put with a throw of 10.58m. 

Junior Benjamin Bouselli ran 11:42.89 in the 3000 meter steeplechase to place third. 

First year Sam Favazza ran 4:21.17 in the 1500 meters to place fifth. Junior Fabrizzio Verano Valderrama placed tenth with a time of 4:50.51. Senior Simon Greenberg ran 4:56.84 to place 11th. 

Senior Luke Stimley placed sixth in javelin with a throw of 21.56m. Bouselli threw 20.40m to place seventh. 

Before the meet, nine seniors in the track & field team were honored: Sebby Breton, Bush, Greenberg, Homer, Iglesias, Armani Moya-Moore, Sears, and Stimley. 

McDaniel returns to action next Friday, May 1 at the 2026 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Gettysburg.
