Sears Resets 10,000-Meter Program Record at CC Championships

GETTYSBURG, PA – The men's outdoor track & field team traveled to Gettysburg College for day one of the Centennial Conference Championships. 

The Green Terror sits sixth after day one with six points; Johns Hopkins leads with 29.5points. 

Senior Jack Sears reset his own 10000 meter run program record with a time of 31:32.33. Sears beat his previous record by 35 seconds to place sixth. 

Graduate student John Geniti placed sixth in pole vault with a mark of 3.95m. 

Junior Jamey Travers placed 11th in hammer throw with a mark of 36.89m. Junior Jacob Gibson placed 15th with a throw of 34.39m. 

McDaniel will return to action Saturday, May 2nd for day two of the Centennial Conference Championships.
