2022 (Sophomore):
As a Sophomore, Brunner started the season with a win in shot put in the Mid-Atlantic/South Region Inter-Conference Meet with a throw of 13.77 meters. He would go onto win both the shot put and discus at the Gallaudet University Invite with throws of 14.08 meters and 40.57 meters. At the Goucher Blue & Gold Classic he would throw his season bests in both the shot put (14.38 meters) and discus (40.93 meters), also finishing 1st in shot put and 2nd in discus. Then went on to score in shot put and discus at the Centennial Conference Championships finishing 5th in shot put with a throw of 13.27 meters, and 6th in discus with a throw of 13.27 meters.
2021 (Freshman):
As a Freshman, Brunner started his season with a win in the discus at Dickinson Quad Invite with a throw of 41.21 meters. He would then win at the Franklin & Marshall College Invite in the discus with a throw of 40.33 meters, at the same meet finishing 2nd in Shot Put with a season best throw of 14.41 meters. He then finished his season with a 2nd place finish in the discus at the Centennial Conference Championship with his season best throw of 42.56 meters, he also finished 4th in the shot put with a throw of 14.09 meters.
