MECHANICSBURG Pa. – The Men's Track & Field team competed in the 10,000 meter run and the discus at the Messiah Invitational hosted by Messiah University.
Graduate Student Nick Raumann placed fourth in the 10,000 meter run in a time of 33:08.61, this is the third all-time mark in program history. Freshman Parker Foster placed tenth in a time of 33:58.82, this is the fifth best mark in program history. Raumann and Foster combined for the fastest duo in the event in program history, along with Foster setting the freshman record in the event.
Graduate Student Chett Brunner placed sixth in the discus with mark of 39.62m (130-0). Senior Jayden Rodwell placed 38th with a throw of 29.77m (97-8). Freshman Jamey Travers placed 41st with a throw of 28.44m (93-4). Junior AJ Iglesias placed 45th with a throw of 26.69m (87-7). Sophomore Jacob Gibson placed 51st with a mark of 23.78m (78-0).
The Green Terror will return to action for the Mid-Week PR Bonanza hosted by Shippensburg on Wednesday April 16th.
