LANCASTER, Pa. - McDaniel College men's soccer junior
Charlie Olson and senior
Carver Neary were both named to the All-Centennial Conference Second Team on Wednesday.
The all-conference selections marked the first for both Olson and Neary. The Green Terror have had nine different all-conference selections over the last four seasons.
Olson leads the team with six goals and 13 points this season, both career highs. He ranks third in the conference in goals and fifth in points. Half of his goals have been game-winners, the second-most in the league. His penalty kick goal against Franklin & Marshall on the final day of the regular season secured a 1-0 win for McDaniel and its second-straight appearance in the Centennial Conference Men's Soccer Championship.
Neary is tied with Olson for the team lead with 13 points while ranking second in goals with five. Both totals are career highs. He ranks fifth in the conference in points and eighth in goals. His two game-winning goals are the fourth-most in the league. In his first three games since returning to The Hill after transferring to Lynchburg for the 2024 season, he totaled eight points with three goals and two assists.
In addition to all-conference honors, the Centennial Conference also announced the 2025 All-Sportsmanship Team for men's soccer and first-year
Nicholas Clarke was selected from McDaniel. He appeared in 17 games while making three starts in his first collegiate season, scoring four points with one goal and two assists. His lone goal was the game-winner in a 4-2 win over Gettysburg on October 22.
McDaniel was selected to the 2025 ECAC Division III Men's Soccer Championship on Monday and will make its fourth postseason appearance in the last eight seasons under head coach
Steve Corrieri on Sunday when the team hosts Juniata at 1 p.m. in a rematch of last year's ECAC semifinals.
