HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The McDaniel College men's track & field team collected two wins at the Larry Sharpe Invitational hosted by Hagerstown Community College on Friday.

Junior Jayden Rodwell won the shot put with a throw of 12.82m (42' 0.75") while sophomore Jacob Gibson placed sixth with a mark of 10.44m (34' 3"). Sophomore Jamey Travers placed seventh with a mark of 9.56m (31' 4.5") and junior Zackary McCaa placed eighth, throwing 9.27m (30' 5") Junior Luke Stimely was ninth with a throw of 7.61m (24' 11.75").
Sophomore Roman Arensmeyer won the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.66 seconds.
Senior Anders Madsen placed second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.66 and senior Sean Irwin placed seventh in 2:15.16. Sophomore Fabrizzio Verano Valderrama was 10th with a time of 2:20.42 to place and junior Simon Greenberg was 14th in 2:35.05.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Irwin, Arensmeyer, senior Kyle Silver, and junior Armani Moya-Moore placed second with a time of 3:53.87.
Moya-Moore placed third in the 400 meters in 55.28 seconds while Silver placed fifth in 55.54 seconds.
Freshman Parker Foster had a time of 9:54.40 in the 3,000 meters to place fifth, sophomore Zac Kane placed seventh with a time of 10:43.86 and senior Joc Baldacci placed eighth with a time of 11:17.04. Foster also placed sixth in the mile with a time of 5:02.93.
Silver crossed the line in 24.12 seconds in the 200-meter dash to place sixth while sophomore Seyi Adelaja placed seventh in 24.38 seconds. Silver and Adelaja qualified for the 2025 Centennial Conference Infoor Track & Field Championships. Moya-Moore placed 12th in 24.76 seconds and freshman Robert Wood placed 15th in 25.51 seconds. Freshman Chaz Freeland placed 18th in 26.12 seconds.
Adelaja placed ninth in the 55-meter dash in 7.03 seconds while Wood ran a time of 7.04 seconds to place 10th. Silver had a time of 7.07 seconds to place 11th while Freeland crossed the line in 7.34 seconds to place 14th.
The Green Terror will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Blue & White Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
