Brunner Wins Shot Put at Father Diamond Invitational

Senior Chett Brunner lead with a win in shot put at the Father Diamond Invitational hosted by George Mason. 

There were no team scores in this event. 

Brunner won shot put with a throw of 15.51 meters (50-10.75). This marks the eight best performances in program history. 

The 4x800 team of Sophomore Jack Sears, Senior Tyler Richardson, Sophomore Jack Reiser, and Junior Anders Madsen placed second with a time of 8:12.63. 

Junior Oral-Anthony Coleman placed fourth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.13. He ran 7.05 in the prelims to qualify second. This marks the sixth best performance in program history. 

Richardson placed tenth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 54.79. Madsen followed in twelfth with a time of 55.03. 

Senior Nick Raumann placed 13th in the mile with a personal best of 4:34.10. Sears placed 15th with a time of 4:37.62. 

McDaniel will return to action for the Larry Sharpe Invitational hosted by Hagerstown Community College on Saturday February 17th.
